A 24-year-old student was stabbed to death by a random man while working at a furniture store in Los Angeles.
Brianna Kupfer was found after another customer entered the high-end furniture store Croft House and discovered the body around 1:50 p.m. last Thursday, the Los Angeles Police Department said.

Ms. Kupfer worked as a design consultant at the store, but was also a graduate student taking an architectural design course at the University of California, Los Angeles.
In 2018, she spent a year studying at the University of Sydney.
His aunt said Kupfer had a big heart, loved and was loved. She leaves behind her parents and three siblings.
LAPD said the suspect was not known to Ms Kupfer and was a “random encounter” at the store.
There was no apparent motive for the attack, the LAPD said in a statement.
The suspect is described as tall and thin, wearing a dark hoodie with sunglasses, a white N-95 mask, dark skinny jeans, dark shoes and carrying a dark backpack.
Police said based on the evidence discovered by detectives, he was thought to be homeless.
Video footage shows a man calmly walking down the alley behind the store after the fatal attack.

A temporary memorial at the front of the store bears a note from the Croft House team.
“The entire Croft House team is deeply saddened by the devastating loss of our beloved team member,” they said.
Father blames crime on the rise
On Monday (local time), Ms Kupfer’s 60-year-old father, Todd Kupfer, criticized political leaders following his daughter’s death.
“Crime is really on the rise, and we have a lot of criminals on the streets who shouldn’t be coming out,” Kupfer told Fox News.
“We have a lot of politicians who somehow have forgotten the people and think that the key to getting elected is to support the lowest echelon of our society and give them rights and it’s sort of the answer to getting votes.”
Mr. Kupfer also paid tribute to his daughter.
“She was a caring soul and always tried to improve herself and make everything around her better, she cared about people,” he said.
“She was the kind of person we need on this Earth, she was strong and lively.”
