Vogel rolls out Grammercy in response to demand for more options

TORONTO, Canada – Vogel by Chervin, a manufacturer of high-end upholstered furniture, is launching its new Grammercy collection focused on “liveable” luxury upholstery fabrics.

“We are extremely excited about this new collection. As we have rebuilt our line over the past few years, we are focusing on clean-lined, livable (for pets and families) and luxurious furniture,” said Steve Bauman, Vice President of Sales.

Available in over 300 fabrics and leathers and COM, the collection is part of Chervin’s overall strategy to give designers and retailers more options to choose from by expanding their offerings.

The upholstered collection includes a sofa, condo sofa, loveseat, and chair with a wrap-around wood base. The frames are made from engineered wood and solid wood and are screwed, glued and stapled for reinforcement and stability. Seat cushions are fiber wrapped, 2.5 lb density Qualux foam. The back cushions are a mix of feathers and fibers.

Like all Vogel upholstered furniture, the Gramercy collection is customizable. Customers can choose from three different seat depths, seat cushion comfort level (firm, soft or Ultra-Lux) and wood finishes (including walnut or oak).

“The Gramercy’s seat cushions are made of a minimum density foam of 2.5 lbs, which is higher than most manufacturers. When it comes to comfort, that’s the most important part of the unit,” said Michael Iacobucci, Purchasing and Estimating Manager. “We want you to sit down and say ‘Wow, that’s comfortable.’ In addition to the ultimate comfort it provides, the lifespan is also significantly longer.

Parts are available to order now with expected delivery times of 16 weeks, shipped from the company’s production facility in Toronto.

Bauman added: “At Vogel, we believe you shouldn’t have to choose between quality and style. We’re thrilled with how the Gramercy embodies each of these statements and can’t wait to see how the designers customize it for their customers.
